Shipping and Delivery
1. General Information
We proudly ship across India and worldwide, bringing India's timeless heritage to art lovers everywhere.
All prices are inclusive of GST/applicable taxes for domestic orders within India.
For international orders, any customs duties, import charges, or local taxes applicable in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
2. Order Processing
Every Ekkara piece is an authentic, handcrafted work — made by skilled artisans using traditional techniques that cannot be rushed.
Crafting and preparation timelines vary by art form, material, and complexity. Some pieces — particularly those in marble, Pichwai, or Meenakari — may require several days to a few weeks of careful crafting and quality inspection before dispatch.
You will be informed of the expected timeline at the time of placing your order.
In the event of delays (artisan schedules, material sourcing, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances), our team will proactively keep you updated.
3. Domestic Orders (India)
Delivery Timelines
7–10 business days after dispatch (timelines may vary based on destination and product type).
Shipping Charges
- Free shipping on orders above ₹5,000.
- Flat rate of ₹599 for orders below ₹5,000.
- Marble and heavy stone artworks: shipping charges calculated per kilogram due to the weight and fragility of the materials.
- Oversized or extra-fragile pieces (e.g., large decorative pots, lanterns): additional packaging and shipping charges may apply and will be communicated before dispatch.
Logistics Support
Our team works with trusted courier partners experienced in handling fragile, high-value shipments. If your shipment is delayed or lost, we will coordinate directly with our logistics partners and keep you informed at every step until the matter is resolved.
4. International Orders
We are honoured to carry India's living heritage traditions to homes around the world.
Delivery Timelines
15–21 business days after dispatch (may vary depending on destination country, customs clearance, and courier availability).
Shipping Charges
- Standard shipping rate: ₹6,000 INR per order.
- Marble, stone, and heavy artworks: charged per kilogram due to weight and specialized handling requirements.
- Oversized items or special packaging requirements will be quoted separately.
Customs & Duties
Import duties, customs charges, and local taxes applicable at the destination are entirely the buyer's responsibility. These costs are not included in Ekkara's product prices or shipping fees. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an order.
Returns & Refunds
International orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Exception: If an item is damaged or lost in transit, our team will reach out to you promptly and work to offer the most suitable and expedient resolution based on your location — including replacement or store credit, assessed case by case.
Delays
Customs inspections, import regulations, or international courier timelines may occasionally cause delays beyond our control. Our team will support you with tracking updates and courier coordination, though Ekkara cannot be held liable for delays caused by customs or third-party courier services.
5. Additional Shipping Charges
In certain cases, standard or quoted shipping rates may not cover the full cost of delivering your order. Our team will contact you if any of the following conditions apply:
- The artwork requires specialized packaging (such as a wooden crate or custom foam casing) to ensure safe transit.
- The artwork's dimensions require oversized freight handling (any side exceeding 36 inches).
- Express or priority shipping is requested (subject to availability).
- The order contains multiple large or heavy product types requiring separate packaging.
- Delivery location falls outside standard courier serviceable zones.
You are welcome to place your order, and our team will reach out if additional charges apply. For clarity before purchase, please contact us at contact@ekkara.com or reach us on WhatsApp.
6. Shipping & Logistics Issues
Delays: May occur due to artisan preparation timelines, material sourcing, weather conditions, courier operations, or customs processing. We will always inform you in advance and keep communication open.
Lost Shipments: In the rare event that a shipment is confirmed lost by the courier, Ekkara will arrange a replacement or issue store credit, depending on product availability and circumstances.
Incorrect Address: Ekkara is not responsible for failed or undeliverable shipments resulting from incomplete or incorrect addresses provided at the time of checkout. Please double-check your delivery details before confirming your order.
Order Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, tracking details will be shared with you via email and/or WhatsApp.
7. Packaging & Care
Given the fragile and high-value nature of our products — particularly marble sculptures, Pichwai artworks, and decorative lanterns — every Ekkara piece is packed with the utmost care using protective materials suited to the artwork.
For items that require longer preparation timelines, you will receive progress photos and updates from our team so you can look forward to your piece as it comes to life.
8. Support
At Ekkara, we are committed to making your experience as seamless, transparent, and joyful as possible — from the moment you place your order to the day your artwork finds its home.
Our team will remain in touch throughout the process, and we are always available to address your questions or concerns.
